Because entry into vessels can be tricky or hazardous, we use 3-D water blast nozzles on our multi-phase Hydroblaster that can eliminate the need to “go in”. This technology rotates two jets of water at 90 degrees to each other, to fully clean an entire vessel. This makes the jobsite far less complicated, because there is no need for a hole watch or to have rescue personnel on standby during the operation. When entry is necessary, the perfect technology for surface tank cleaning is the SPIN JET®, which makes quick work of removing a buildup of the residue of your product; and it can hydro blast away coatings and linings.

On one recent jobsite, it was deemed far too unsafe to use a torch to cut into an oil tank, and so cutting of a twelve foot square hole was accomplished using high pressure water to make the incision. The steel plate was an inch thick! This is the real world example of the safe cutting technology that can be used on tank cleaning including removal of coatings, polymers, scale and fouling.
